RULES & GUIDELINES

– Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment.

– Smoking is not allowed. If you smoke outside, be cool and throw away your cigarette butts. Don’t toss them in the grass.

– Please respect our neighbors and keep the sound levels reasonable. If it’s going to be loud, keep all doors shut. You will be asked to leave if a noise complaint is sent to us.

– Our studio is pretty minimal so please put things back where they were such as chairs, stools, tables, etc.

– If you have a lot of gear to unload, feel free to use our cart. Do not overload the cart (300lbs max) and please return the cart immediately to the studio after use.

 

BY RENTING MYSTUDIO HTX FOR ANY PURPOSE, YOU AGREE TO FOLLOW OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

 

– Please dispose of all trash in the trash bin. A $100 cleaning fee may be assessed if the guidelines are not met.

– Please keep to the maximum agreed number of guests in the studio at all times. An amount of $50 will be charged PER PERSON as an overage fee unless discussed otherwise.

– Any extensions MUST BE REQUESTED within 30 minutes prior to end time and are not guaranteed due to the current availability at that moment.

– It must be said, no weapons, or open fires are permitted in the studio or on the property.

– Glitter, paper confetti, fake snow, smoke bombs, and fireworks are not allowed. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in a $500 clean-up fee.

– Any abuse or disrespect of the space, staff or other members will result in a ban.

– We do not offer refunds for cancellations.

– As the renter of the photography studio, you will be solely responsible for any damages incurred to rented equipment, the studio,  and/or building during the duration of your rental period. This includes, but is not limited to, any damage caused by negligence, misuse, or any other actions that result in harm to the studio equipment or property.

 

RENTAL EQUIPMENT AND ADD-ONS:

 

– Please report any damaged or broken equipment before use.

– To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for both parties, we kindly request that you exercise caution and adhere to all guidelines provided in our rental agreement. In the event of any damages, we reserve the right to hold you liable for the repair or replacement costs associated with the affected equipment or property.

– We understand that accidents can happen unintentionally, and we trust that you will take all necessary precautions to prevent any mishaps. However, it is essential for both parties to be aware of their responsibilities to maintain a positive and respectful rental experience.

 

ARRIVAL INSTRUCTIONS:

 

– We are located at 208 Velasco St, Houston, TX 77003 in between Harrisburg Blvd and Commerce St. The studio is located behind a white 1940’s shotgun house that has a concrete with gravel driveway. Detailed arrival instructions will be sent at time of booking.

 

PARKING:

 

– MYSTUDIO HTX is located in the Historic Second Ward. The driveway in front of the studio can be used for loading and unloading with general parking available on the street. If parking on the street, please do not block any driveway or businesses. Please double-check any and all parking signs.

 

SECURITY CAMERA NOTICE:

 

– MYSTUDIO HTX is equipped with 24/7 security cameras for your protection and the security of our premises. These cameras are in place to ensure a safe and secure environment for all. Please note that the recorded footage is only accessed and reviewed in the event of an incident or as needed for security purposes. Should you have any questions or require further information, feel free to contact our staff.

 

WIFI:

 

– WiFi information will be sent at time of booking.

 

STUDIO ENTRY:

 

– Your access code and detailed arrival instructions will be sent the day of your booking.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

CANCELLATION POLICY | STUDIO RENTAL:

 

There are no refunds. Studio rentals canceled with a 3+ day notice can be re-scheduled at no additional charge. Dates subject to availability.

Studio rentals canceled 48hrs-72hrs before scheduled session can be re-scheduled with a $50 rescheduling fee.

Cancellations made within 24hrs forfeits your session fee and full payment is due with no refund issued.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY | PROFESSIONAL HEADSHOTS:

 

– Promotional or Special rate packages are not eligible for a refund but can be rescheduled.

– Sessions or Events canceled with a 30-day notice or greater are eligible for a full refund.

– Sessions or Events canceled with a 3-29 day notice can be re-scheduled with no refund on deposit.

– All cancellations made within 48hrs forfeits your session fee and full payment is due.

– Payments not received by the due date will be accessed a 10% fee based on the total cost of the session.

– Cancellations made due to weather-related conditions can be re-scheduled to a later date without panalty.

– Sessions rescheduled by the client must be rescheduled within 6 months of the original shoot date. The deposit amount and agreed upon rate will be forfeited if not within this time frame.

– Sessions that need to be rescheduled by the photographer due to unforseen circumstances such as natural disaster, terroist activity or health emergency will be rescheduled within 2 weeks time at no additional cost to the client.
